Pinewild members never have to leave the private gates of the plantation to
fulfill all their recreational needs. In addition to all the other recreational
attractions, Pinewild Country Club of Pinehurst boasts forty eight holes of
golf. The world-class facilities include two championship golf courses, the
Magnolia and the Holly, which are both stunning and challenging to golfers of
all skill levels. The Magnolia, a "traditional masterpiece", was designed by
Gene Hamm, and has played host to the PGA Tour Qualifying School, the LPGA's 's
Pinewild Championship in l995, as well US Open Qualifying.
The Holly, a Gary Player Signature Course, is fast becoming an area favorite,
due to its' panoramic beauty, "risk reward" layout, and some the best greens in
the Sandhills. The Holly has played host to many USGA Qualifying events, as well
as Carolinas PGA Championships. Whatever your choice of course, you are sure to
enjoy the Bermuda grass blanketing the fairways, and velvet bent grass greens.
The Azalea course is a nine-hole par 3 course, which includes some of the
more scenic holes on property. The remaining holes consist of three practice
holes, which make up part of the world-class practice facility. Included in the
practice facility are two large putting greens, a chipping green, a short-game
complex and a magnificent range with greenside and fairway bunkers. The fine
practice facilities are home to the Pinewild Golf Academy. The Academy combines
a great facility, state-of-the-art video, and qualified PGA instruction, to
create a learning opportunity for golfers of all skill levels.
Joining Pinewild…
The present facilities of Pinewild Country Club of Pinehurst may be used by
current dues-paying members of the Club and their guests, and designated
employees and guest of the developer. During the growth of the Club and the
surrounding real estate development, persons who express an interest in
purchasing a homesite and/or Club membership, including members of the general
public, may wish to preview the Club facilities and golf courses. For this
reason, as well as to defray the costs of operating the Club, and to help keep
Club member dues at a reasonable level, the Developer may permit persons whom
the Developer wishes to interest in purchasing a homesite and/or Club membership
to use the Club facilities. When the total number of Full-Privilege members in
the Club grows to 600, the Developer intends to convert the Magnolia Course to a
member-only status.
Annual Dues…
Each year, Club Management will determine the amount of annual dues for each
membership classification. Annual dues adjustment will take place on January
1st. The dues have been established by maintaining the balanced relationship
between the quality image of the Club and the economic requirements of the
Club.
